This is general information to help you prepare, not legal advice. Every case is different and Home Office requirements change, so Mr Jutla will tell you exactly what your application needs. Bring what you have; nothing is lost by bringing more.

Questions people ask

Can you tell me whether my application will succeed?

No solicitor can guarantee what the Home Office will decide. What Mr Jutla can do is look at your circumstances, explain the requirements and your options honestly, and prepare your application with care.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

It depends on your matter. Your passport, any current visa or eVisa details and any letters from the Home Office are a good start. The checklist on the home page lists papers that are often useful for each kind of matter. It is general information, and you'll be told exactly what your own case needs.

How much will it cost?

It depends on the type of application and how much work it involves. Ask when you call, and you'll be told the fee and what it covers before any work begins. Home Office application fees and any health surcharge are separate and set by the government.

How do I make an appointment?

Call 0116 254 0809, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, or send an enquiry from the contact page and the office will get back to you.

My visa is about to run out. What should I do?

Call as soon as you can rather than sending an email. Applications generally need to be made before your current permission ends, so time matters.
